Spring is here!

And fittingly, I’ve title this pendant “Rite of Spring”.   The colors are so springlike with deep purple reminding me of violets, one of the first flowers to bloom!  And the leaves on a pussy willow are this green.  I’ve also included script because I simply adore text!  The back side of this pendant contains an illustration of a bird, another reminder that Spring is finally here!  Also included in the resin are two tiny rhinestone “diamonds”, ribbon, and glass shards.  The pendant is cast of fine silver made from a carved wax mold I made while taking a casting class at the College of DuPage fifteen years ago.  I’ve had the silver frame pendant in a box for all these years and just recently decided it would be a splendid vehicle for resin!
