This is the third pendant…
in a series that I’ve made using various components anchored on the egg and/or bird’s nest theme. I’ve used a curved fine silver cast twig wrapped with sterling wire. A 2.5mm moonstone sits at one end and a large black pearl dangles from the center of the twig. Swinging from hammered bronze wires embellished with bronze gear beads and small round bone beads is a tiny polymer clay egg wrapped with a strip of sterling silver sheet anchored with two brass nails and encased with lengths of hammered sterling silver wire The finishing touch is a petite polymer clay bird perched on top of the egg. The pendant is suspended from a 30″ chain made of steel links. You’ll find this pendant at Brio Gallery in Galena, Illinois.
