An eternity…
At least that’s how long it seemed to take to stitch this endless string of triangles. Admittedly, I am not a speed beader, and with my short attention span, it took quite a bit of patience and fortitude to complete this piece. It was also my first foray into geometric beading, thus the learning curve factored in. But, I enjoyed the process of using a multitude of colors and I love the end result! I’ll be wearing this bangle often! Titled “Caldera”, this project was designed by Jean Power. Jean is the queen of geometric beading and her unique designs are mathematically challenging. She has recently published a 128 page book that is filled with exacting and fascinating projects. You can order the book stateside from barrelofbeads.com or from Jean in the UK at JeanPower.com.

Thank you, Jean! I love playing with color, which is rather odd because my entire wardrobe consists of neutals!
