One bead at a time…
I haven’t had as much time to devote to beading this week as I would like. I’ve been working on my latest geometric ZigZag piece, the “Parrot Fish” cuff (inspired by CGB) and after spending several days creating the colored chart design, I am now enjoying seeing the pattern work develop slowly bead by bead and row by row. I was curious as to how many beads will be used in this piece. Can you guess? After doing the math, I was astounded to find that it will take well over six thousand beads…all stitched one bead at a time!

I had to laugh because your photo shows one of the many two-bead adds in the piece. So not always one bead at a time, hmm?

Thank you, Alicia! It’s slow going…about two or three rows at a time, but I’m making progress!
