Empress Ming is progressing slowly…
I haven’t had more than a few hours to bead in the past ten days. Between cooking for company, readying the herb garden and prairie for winter, yoga sessions, annual doctor appointments, and running too many errands, I have had little free time for anything else. Having less time to bead or work in the metals studio is very frustrating, and I feel starved for the Zen I derive from creating! Hopefully, that will change very soon. Having finally finished the “Winged” section of the new “Empress Ming Cuff” design (inspired by CGB and incidentally, my original red version of Empress Ming will appear in CGB Volume II), I hope to be able to carve out more time in the coming week to start working on the “Horns” portion of the cuff, which will prove to be great fun!
