No time for beading these days!
My latest cuff project has been put on the back burner while I’ve been occupied filling holiday orders these past few weeks. I feel like one of Santa’s elves, busily assembling beading kits and creating more Bead Treasure Box Collections. I am most eager to get back to what will be called the “Mermaid Cuff”, but I must admit that because I so love to play with color, I really do enjoy gathering the beads, pearls, and other various goodies that are contained in the individual Treasure Boxes. Each features a plethora of beads in a particular colourway. The Treasure Box shown in the above photo is in the Winter Neutrals colourway. Every collection contains some of my handmade bronze metal Clay urchin embellishments as well as a Polymer clay seashell or star urchin bead/button component, both of which are created in molds I’ve made from actual seashells that I have collected while on vacation in tropical locales. Sure to delight any bead enthusiast, you’ll find them in my Etsy shop. There’s still time to snag one of these beauties before Xmas if you hurry!
