After twenty-five years of metalsmithing…
My original set of disc cutters, which has served me well, has seen better days, so I’ve treated myself to the “king” of disc cutters…a Swanstrom set that comes in an organizer along with a brass mallet, Bur-Life lubricant, a urethane pad, and center-positioning dies. I’ve always had a difficult time getting things centered exactly so these dies will really help with that task! This may not enthuse many, but to someone who loves jewelry-making tools as much as I do…well, it’s quite exciting! My twenty ton hydraulic press will come in very hand with the new disc cutters. Using well-made tools and reliable equipment makes the process so much easier! I foresee many fun hours spent at the workbench in my metals studio!

I bought a set several years ago and yes, it is a wonderful tool! Agree with you completely. I also want to tell you how much I love your designs. The beaded cuffs and collars are lovely!
