Queen of Hearts….
That title may very well become my alias if I keep making heart-themed jewelry! I’ve just finished this pair and they are my favorite at the moment. The hammer-textured sterling silver hearts on the front are patinaed with of liver of sulfur…I love the deep coppery tone with flashes of purple and blue! Three tiny dots of 18k Gold Bi-metal are scattered among set stones of Peridot, Salmon Coral, and Mother of Pearl. The textured bronze heart underneath is fastened to the sterling heart with brass rivets.
Metal spacer beads separate both hearts by 1mm adding a bit of relief to the cutout on the backside and revealing a file-textured brushed silver heart. Now…on to the next pair!
