It Was a Lovely Snowy Day…
The perfect day to be indoors warm and cozy as snowflakes gently fell covering every branch, twig, and the remaining skeletons of flowers and grasses in the prairie. Although, I had every intention of working on the geometric beaded bangle that I had started earlier this week, the seven year old in me just had to play with paper! I spent the entire day gleefully inking, stamping, cutting, and collaging! I absolutely love the Sizzix Big Shot Pro machine that Santa brought and I’ve been making a bevy of colorful envelopes in different shapes that will eventually house beading kits. Some of the envelopes are fold-over style, others are sleeves, and I’ve made more oversized square envelopes too. All are large enough to allow room for the display of a photo of the finished project each will hold. It’s really great being a kid again…even if it was just for a day!
