Yowza!
Amazing what one can do with scrap polymer! Having accumulated a plethora of scrap pieces of clay over the years, I threw some on top of a sheet of white polymer and rolled it through my Dream Machine. Then I added several small pieces and snakes of blue and red clay in strategic areas and ran the clay through the machine again. Finally, I did some rough sketches with felt tipped markers and rolled the sheet of clay super thin (about two playing cards in thickness) that I can use as veneer over beads. The sheet is approximately 4” x 4”. I love modern art and frankly, can envision this as a small framed piece. But, I think I’ll just use tiny pieces at a time and make components for a wildly fun necklace! Or maybe a brooch or two. Or earrings or a bracelet? So many choices!
