It’s hard to believe…

that something that so closely resembles animal crackers in the unfinished state can be so gorgeous after being fired and run in a tumbler for several hours.  This is my first try with BRONZclay FASTfire and I’m so pleased.  One of the biggest benefits to using this new formula is that it hardly shrinks.  Whereas the original formula of BRONZclay shrinks by 25%, it’s wonderful to form a piece and know that after firing it will be almost the same size it was in its raw state.  This translates to a lot more mileage from a pack of clay!  These bronze seashells will be used in a necklace that I’ve had on the creative “drawing board” for some time. What lovely embellishments they will be!
